Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a 5,000 year old method of using very fine needles to regulate the 14 meridians (energy pathways) and Qi (the energy itself) of the body.
Acupuncture can treat a wide range of complaints including muscular and joint pains, sports injuries, gynaecological problems, headaches and migraine, poor circulation, digestive disorders, respiratory illness, mental and emotional problems, depression, general feeling of being run down or tired all the time. Virtually any condition can be helped with acupuncture.
Acupuncture does not treat a symptom in isolation, it also seeks to address the underlying imbalance which allowed the symptom to occur. This means that, as well as an improvement in the main symptom, people notice that they also feel better in themselves.
Initial consultation takes one hour, when a full history of your main complaint, medical history, diet and lifestyle will be taken, followed by a treatment.
Subsequent treatments take approximately 40 minutes.
Facial Enhancement (or Cosmetic) acupuncture treatments take one hour.
Consultation Fees:
First full consultation and treatment £55. Follow-up treatments £40
First consultation for Cosmetic acupuncture £75, subsequent treatments £60.
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment or a fee may be charged.
